Although I am not from Nepal and will not benefit from this program, I welcome this. It shows the seriousness with which our government is really working for our people.

The suspicion that some of you raise here shows the state of affairs of the society. You have to be intelligent enough to differentiate between fact and fiction, between baseless allegation and hearsay. You have to play your role as a concerned citizen by making sure that our government does not take a wrong step. But that does not mean that you condemn everything before it has begun.

Don't kill the goose that lays the golden egg.

this is gr8 news for all Tibetans in Nepal but what are these criteria they're talking about? Also as already mentioned others stand to benefit from this who r not Tibetan refugees.(u people out there know who they are. but hold on to your horses for now cause all this could go into flames cause if this bill or whatever does not pass then there is no show cause remember there is a growing support for the Chinese among those in the upper eschelons of power in Washington. So keep ur fingers crossed people. May the Buddha shine his blessings upon us. Om Mane Padme Hum!

Hey guys, who is coming to US through anyway. I have an advice for you. don't ever forget you are tibetan. it doesn't means in speaking, dressing, eating in tibetan. but also the most important in this world today is to make a contributions of $96.00 to pay for the green book. i know some for the first few years it won't seems too much then after you know about it's also okay to not pay. then you will think man why shoulc i pay??? and why am i paying??? you will find a stupid by paying your hard money. but let me remind you. always think and don't forget why you are legal and come to this country.
this message is also for all my friends who didn't pay and god bless them after they die. thanks.

THE BEST SOLUTION FOR THESE KIND OF TIBETAN USA RE-SETTLEMENT PROGRAM IS TO SETTLE OUR YOUNG GENERATION FIRST. OUR YOUNG GENERATION ARE THE PILLARS OF OUR FUTURE STRUGGLE AND ASPIRATIONS. OUR YOUNGSTERS SHOULD BE GIVEN THIS OPPORTUNITY TO SETTLE OUTSIDE OF NEPAL AND INDIA AND PURSUE IN THEIR DREAMS OF REALISING THEIR FUTURE AND BENEFIT FOR TIBETAN COMMUNITY.
BESIDES, THE YOUNG TIBETAN GENERATION ARE THE ONES WHO ALWAYS LOSE IN THEIR LIFE IN TERMS OF JOB, FUTURE OPPORTUNITIES, EDUCATION AND HOPE WHEN IT COMES TO SETTLING IN A DISCRIMINATORY SOCIETIES LIKE IN INDIA AND NEPAL. THE TIBETAN GOVERNMENT SHOULD FIND AND MAKE A POLICY WHERE EVERY UNEMPLOYED AND EDUCATED TIBETAN YOUTH SHOULD BE GIVEN A CHANCE ON GOING ABROAD IN SUCH PROJECTS AND BETTER THEIR LIFE AND DIGNITY. THATS THE WAY WE CAN BETTER AND UPKEEP OUR COMMUNITY IN MANY YEARS TO COME.

It is yet another good news for Tibetan refugees that the USA government is willing to take Tibetans resettle in USA. I wish that similar program should follow up for the needy Tibetans still languishing in South India in the major Tibetan settlements, without much secure living source. I hope that this move do not cause unnecessary dispute among the small Tibetan communtiy.

Lets pray and hope the US Congress approves this new Tibetan US resettlement project. Burn your lamps and start chanting mantras from now on for your good Karma.
Light up the Boudhanath Stupa, Swayanbhunath stupa and all the monasteries by butter lamps and call your lucks and blessings by performing lungta and lhabsols. This is a time for hope and good time in the coming days!

Its about time to say good bye to the Nepalese and their corruption-ridden country forever!
