Reshuffle in the Kashag

Dharamsala, March 5 - In a latest development here in the Central Tibetan Administration, there has been a reshuffle in the portfolios of the 12th Kashag. As per the provision given under clause 2 of the article 29 of the Tibetan charter, His Holiness the Dalai Lama has approved the reshuffle which will be effective from today. This was announced through a circular issued today by the Kashag Secretariat.

Kalon Tripa Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche is the Kalon for the departments of Security and Home. Kalon Lobsang Nyima is the Kalon for the Department of Religion and Kalon Thupten Lungrik is the Kalon for the departments of Education and Health. Kalon Lobsang Nyandak is the Kalon for departments of Finance and Information and International Relations.
