The delegates presented their paper in order to put pressure on Indian Govt. to talk only on Tibet issue. As it is already discussed in the meeting that both the states are the members of the World Trade Organization (WTO), which makes no use of talking in commercial trades as both has to follow the terms and conditions laid by WTO for trade building. On the other hand, culturally both states enjoy rich cultural and heritage and already have good understanding in this direction. Therefore, keeping the security and defence of the nation, Tibet issue is needed to be discussed. The delegates also intensively discussed the aftermaths of the construction of the railway line in Tibet. The National President of the Bharat Tibet
Sahyog Manch Mr. P.C. Dogra (Retired D.G.P. Punjab) laid emphasis to be focused this issue worldwide. He urged the Tibetan activists to make the people-to-people contact programme rather than closed room conferences and seminars. The Director of Gu Chu Shum movement recount his past experience in Tibet and highlighted the plight of his fellow countrymen in back home. Mr. Lobsang Nyandak give detailed of the efforts being made by the Tibetan Govt. to narrowing the mounting tension between both nations. He felt the need of sharing the conference table with Chinese counterpart as he has lots of expectation with ongoing
delegation in Beijing these days. The spirit behind the two days discussion Dr. Kuldeep Chandra Agnihotri convener of BTSM has extensively introduced the proud history of Tibet. In his study Tibet never was a weak nation in his past. Following the principles of Lord Buddha their follower Buddhist (Tibetans) never felt the need to dominates other which eventually gave benefit to the neighbouring nation i.e. China.
The conference concluded with the passing of three resolutions. Firstly, before the Indian PM departure to China both the counterpart i.e. India and Tibet will urge him to discuss Tibet in their talk so the early solution can be sorted out. Secondly, to put pressure on the Chinese Govt. to stop the work of railway construction line in Lhasa. Thirdly, to release the exploited freedom fighter from the captivity of Chinese in their own jails. All the three resolutions were passed by the delegation without any opposition.
