DHARAMSHALA, Dec. 24: The Prime Minister of India, Sh. Narendra Modi is set to take part in a mega rally taking place in Dharamshala on 27 December to mark the completion of one year of the BJP state government.

The rally is expected to be attended by thousands of party workers, general public and beneficiaries of welfare schemes of the state government, says report.

It is taking place from 12:00 pm to 01:00 pm at the Police ground, Jawahar Nagar, confirmed the DC office, Dharamshala.

The office of District Magistrate has circulated a directive a few days ago ordering all educational institutions in Dharamshala Education Block to remain closed on the day of the rally to avoid traffic congestion and inconvenience.

The rally, coming up in the lead up to the Lok Sabha Elections in 2019 will exhibit the achievements of the state government in the last one year.

The BJP President Amit Shah, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, and central ministers are also expected to join the rally.
