DHARAMSHALA June 3: His Holiness the Dalai Lama today left for Australia, where he is scheduled to give five - day teachings on Commentary on the Five Stages of Guhyasamaja and confer the Yamantaka Initiation (jigje wang).

The teachings and empowerment is being organized by the "Dalai Lama in Australia" group at the Fairmont Resort, Luera, Blue Mountains.

The Tibetan leader will also deliver a public talk on "The Wisdom of Forgiveness" in the afternoon of June 8 at the Katoomba Public School.

His Holiness will participate in a multi-faith event in the morning of June 11 at the Cathedral of St. Stephen's in Brisbane, Queensland.

The Tibetan leader will also give teachings on Nagarjuna's Precious Garland (norbu trengwa)at the Brisbane Convention Center on June 11 and 12.

His Holiness will give a public talk on "The Wisdom of Compassion" on June 12 in the afternoon at Riverstage.

His Holiness will give a public talk on "The Wisdom of Giving & Receiving" at the Perth Arena in Perth, Western Australia on June 14.
