Dhrarmshala - His Holiness the Dalai Lama left Dharamsala on Sunday to visit US for teachings, public talks and dialogue processes for more than two weeks.
His Holiness will fly from New Delhi to Bloomington on Monday and from Wednesday 12-13 May, will give teachings on Heart Sutra (Sherab Nyingpo) at Indiana University Auditorium.
Following this on 14 May His Holiness will give a public talk on Facing Challenges with Compassion & Wisdom organized by The Tibetan & Mongolian Buddhist Cultural Center, Interfaith Hunger Initiative and Indiana Buddhist Center.
His Holiness will give a three-day teaching on Shantideva’s A Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life (chodjug) & Kamalashila’s The Middling States of Meditation (gomrim barpa) from May 20 to 22 in New York. On 23 May His Holiness will give public talk on Awakening the Heart of Selflessness.
On May 16, His Holiness will take part in a dialogue on Investigating Healthy Minds with neuroscientist Prof. Richard Davidson of the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
His Holiness will give public talk on The Power of Education in Cedar Falls on May 18 organized by University of Northern Iowa.
His Holiness will also participate in an interfaith dialogue at the Church of St. John the Divine, on May 23 in New York before returning to Dharamsala.
