According to Kashag Secretariat, Kalon Tripa will leave Dharamshala for the US on 19 July.
At the invitation of Aspen Institute in Colorado, Kalon Tripa will attend a symposium on "Celebration of Tibetan Culture" from 25 - 26 July.
He will take part in a panel discussion on "The Dalai Lama" along with leading panelists including, Pico Iyer, Lodi Gyari Gyaltsen and Robert Thurman.
On 27 July, Kalon Tripa will leave Aspen for a historic visit to the Himalayan Institute in Honesdale, Pennsylvania.
He will deliver a keynote address on a book titled "Uncompromising Truth for a Compromised World: Tibetan Buddhism and Today's World with Professor Samdhong Rinpoche", at the Himalayan Institute.
The book is a compilation of a series of dialogues on these topics written by Donovan Robert, a former member of Tibet support group-based in South Africa.
"Professor Samdhong Rinpoche will share with us the relationship between the traditional spiritual wisdom he has inherited and the imperfect modern world in which we find ourselves," noted the institute's website.
"His visit to the Institute embodies the blessings of His Holiness The Dalai Lama, and weds two great traditions: one with roots in trans-Himalayan Tibet and the other in the Garhwal Himalayas. This also marks an historic step for the Institute's work and mission as we continue to explore with Professor Rinpoche ways in which the Institute, members, and friends can serve the Tibetan community."
Kalon Tripa will also meet concerned officials at the institute to discuss matters related with projects supporting organic farming in the Tibetan settlements in India.
Kalon Tripa will return to Dharamshala on 31 July.
