Phayul has received these images of Kardze protesters thus far identified and whose old pictures were available with relatives and friends. However, it is hard to get out information or identification of the dead and those under arrest.  Tseten Phuntsok, Ex-Lead Chanter of Karze Monastery. Age: 40. Detained at 2:30pm on 18th March.  Ngoega Chiukaso. Killed by Chinese police on 18th March in Karze while protesting.  Tenzin Namgyal, 37, of Dargye monastery detained while protesting in Dargye in Karze.  Mandiso Gonpo, 40, protested in Karze on 18th March. His where about is not known. |
