Tibet.net[Thursday, October 12, 2006 09:54]
Dharamshala: Kalon Tripa, Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche, left for BodhGaya in Bihar state of India to attend the Second All India Tibet Support Groups (TSGs) Conference to be held there on 13-14 October.

Kalon Tripa will also address the gathering of TSGs. The conference is being organised by the Indo-Tibet Coordination Office based in New Delhi.

TSGs are non-governmental organisations, formed voluntarily amongst international community, to help creating better awareness of Tibet issue at regional, national and international levels and generating worldwide support for Tibetan cause.

Earlier a conference of Asian TSGs was held in Rewari (India) in 2002.

Since 1990 four international conferences of TSGs were held. The first international conference of TSGs was held in Dharamshala, headquarter of the Central Tibetan Administration, in 1990, second in Bonn in 1996, third in Berlin in 2000, and fourth in Prague in 2003.
