Tibetan President condoles Manchester terror victims

In the wake of the terror attack that rocked the city of Manchester on May 22, President of the Tibetan Government-in-Exile (officially known as Central Tibetan Administration) today expressed his condolences to Britain’s Prime Minister Theresa May and the British people for their losses.

Indian Govt. to lift Karmapa’s travel restrictions

In a positive development for the Tibetan religious figure 17th Karmapa Ogyen Trinley Dorjee, the Indian government is reportedly set to lift the travel restrictions currently in place for the young Tibetan lama.
