Dharamsala, March 25: Mr. Mohan Singh, Samajwadi Party MP and convener of the All Party for Indian Parliamentarian forum for Tibet has expressed his solidarity for the Tibetan cause. He addressed media persons today at Lhakpa Tsering Memorial hall of the Department of Information and International Relations.
“Any struggle for human rights preservation is a matter for the whole of humanity,” Mr. Singh said.
He further said that he supported the statement made by the Indian External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee during his recent visit to the United States that the Chinese government should start dialogue to resolve the issue of Tibet.
He said that a resolution on the issue of Tibet would be passed in the National Conference of Samajwadi Party to be held in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh on 27 March 2008.
