Dharamshala – Kalon Tripa Samdhong Rinpoche is expected to deliver a key-note address on Compassion as the Source of Fearlessness: A Buddhist Viewpoint, at Omega’s 4th annual Being Fearless conference, on Sunday, 15 April in New York.
Other key-note speakers at the conference at the Sheraton New York Hotel, from 13-15 April, include former Vice-President Al Gore, primatologist Jane Goodall, screenwriter and humorist Nora Ephron, visionary and healer Caroline Myss, author and activist Arianna Huffington, etc.
In the evening of 15 April, Kalon Tripa will address the Tibetan people based in New York and New Jersey.
Before, on 13 April in Toronto, Kalon Tripa will be expected to address the Tibetans based across Canada, at a public talk organised by the Canadian-Tibetan Association of Ontario.
Enroute to Canada, in Delhi on 12 April, Kalon Tripa will inaugurate a symposium on Tibetan History and Culture in the Contemporary World–Challenges and Opportunities, held at the Khalsa College.
Organized jointly by various Indian Tibet support groups, the symposium will also feature an exhibition entitled “Long Look Homeward” by the Tibet Museum of the Department of Information and International Relations.
