Dharamsala, July 19 : Do you have what it takes to make big in life? Are you motivated enough to climb to the higher rungs of the career ladder? Are you running low in your confidence meter? To boost career prospects, try one session from the likes of Mrs Britta Jacobsen, who specialize in “bringing changes in your life and career”.
The life and business coach is counseling a group of 20 newly passed outs from schools and colleges here today morning, at a three-and-half-hour-long workshop organised by the Youth Empowerment Support and the Employment Exchange units of the exile Home Department, with funding from the Denmark-based Tibet Charity, which has a branch office here.
The Youth Empowerment Support unit organizes training and workshops providing skills for livelihood and career development like basic computer skills and carpentry workshops, in addition to soft loans for initiating business enterprises like opening up cyber cafes, while the newly established, Employment Exchange unit co-ordinates and disseminates information about placement opportunities. It also organizes workshops providing skills of communication, motivation and personality development.
