NARITA — The Dalai Lama, Tibet’s exiled spiritual leader, met with a member of the main opposition Democratic Party of Japan (DPJ) on Monday during a stopover at Narita airport, east of Tokyo.
The Dalai Lama, who was on his way to the United States from India, talked with House of Representatives member Seishu Makino, head of a group of lawmakers interested in Tibet issues.
