Dalai Lama teaches Tantrik Yoga to Buddhist clergy

Dharamshala, March 26 – Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, has begun a course in Tantrik Yoga for senior members of the Buddhist clergy in this town.
The Tibetan leader gave a commentary on the “Chakrasamvara Text”, the highest Tantrik Yoga teaching in Tibetan Buddhism.

The text, which is not open to all Buddhists, is meant only for highest clergy among them.

There will be six sessions of teaching and each session will be followed by three purification ceremonies.

“Once you are taking this Tantrik teaching, you have to thoroughly obey without any gap, the routine practiced. This teaching, this Tantrik teaching is very special,” Yeshi Phuntshok, a Tibetan monk, said.

The Dalai Lama will continue his teaching for ten days.
