New Delhi, February 23 – Youth Empowerment Initiative, an NGO supported by the exile government announces its website < www.tyei.org> today.

YEI strives for a world where young Tibetans in exile can fulfill their potential and use their creativity; value based education and skills as productive members of the global society.

Our mission is to empower youths through a holistic, peer-centered approach to create conditions under which they can contribute to the economic, social, and cultural advancement of their society and gain self-fulfillment. These enabling conditions include education, knowledge, information and skills, access to health and other social services, and employment opportunities.

YEI is a non-political, non-profit social organization and a forum where entrepreneurs, employers and job seekers can meet and help each other. We strongly believe that our youths are not care less but cared less. We appeal all Tibetans and friends of Tibet to actively participate in empowering our youths and take them away from the aid culture towards a self-confident and self-reliant society.
