We resumed our rally with our national anthem at the last halt at around 9 a.m. comprising of 46 students. We cycled around the city and recieved a very warm reception from the leaders of the town and they offered us tea on the way to Warangal which was our last halt for the day.

The following were the programmes we had at Kammam:

  • Distribution of huge amount of phamplets in the colleges and schools around the town.
  • We held a press conference and recieved coverage in the local daily with pictures.
  • We rallied around raising slogans on our way to Warangal.
  • After reaching the biggest town in Andhra Pradesh called Warangal, we had our lunch and then continued our rally into the town raising slogans while distributing phamplets. There were about six Tibetan sweater sellers who were from bylakuppe who served us with cold drinks and helped us perform our show in a grand manner.
  • At around 7pm we were accompanied by the sweater sellers to set up a stage around the center of the town and performed our uprising and various other songs. Later, huge crowd gathered at the show resulting a slight traffic congestion around the area.Few learned people helped us in conveying our call of freedom in their own language to the crowd.
  • We had a lot of press personnel volunteering to do something for us .
  • We did video screening to the public after we finished our show.

We will halt at warangal for the fourth night and the next morning we will be continuing our rally to Jangam.

  • Our deep gratitude to our dear aunty Aasha Reddy,an active Tibet supporter in Chennai for coming all the way to Vijayawada and helping us in planning and coordinating our cycle rally. She travelled with some of our students in a jeep along the whole route of the rally and arranged everything at every halt. Arrangements of the chief guests for the opening and closing ceremony is also credited to her.
  • Our sincere thanks to Mr.Surya Prakash Rao, Mr.Subramaniam, Mr Vishwanath and Mr.Vali who gave us all the possible assistance needed at Vijayawada.
  • Our heartfelt thanks to Mr.Manohar and Mr.Sridhar for their generous help at Warangal.
