HYDERABAD – Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama, in a message sent to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday, expressed shock over the attempt on the latter’s life and wished him a speedy recovery.
‘‘I have much admiration for the progressive leadership you have been providing to the people of Andhra Pradesh and making your State a model for others. I pray for your continued success,’’ he observed.
Other important persons who sent messages include former judge of Supreme Court V R Krishna Iyer, Gujarat Speaker Mangalbhai Patel, MP Abu Asim Azmi and Nasik Mayor Dharmaji Patel.
