Tibet Airport Under Construction
This photo taken on June 16, 2003 shows the new terminal at the Gonggar Airport, 100 kilometers away from Lhasa, capital of southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region. Some 323.49 million yuan is invested on the ongoing expansion project of the airport, which was started in early 2001 and is scheduled to be completed in December 2003.
