Dharamsala June 10 – His Holiness the Dalai Lama will arrive in Delhi tomorrow after completing his tour of Europe. The 67-year-old Buddhist leader and Tibet’s temporal head will head for Ladakh where he will give discourse on Buddhism to the Buddhist population in the region.

The four-member delegation comprising of Special Envoy Lodi Gyari and Envoy Kelsang Gyaltsen arrived in Delhi earlier this week. The second delegation since last year’s opening up of relationship between Beijing and Dharamsala left India on 25 May. “A press conference of the delegation will be held in the Indian capital tomorrow afternoon”, Voice of Tibet, a radio service based in Dharamsala quoted Mr. Tashi Wangdi, the representative of His Holiness the Dalai Lama in Delhi, as saying. But as of now there seems to be no press conference in the itinerary.

And Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche, the Kalon Tripa of the exile government will reach Delhi tomorrow after his tour of south India.

The three parties will be at the same place on the same day but any coincidence can not be ruled out.

According to VOT, the envoys will brief His Holiness the Dalai Lama about the latest development in the Dharamsala-Beijing ties in Delhi itself.

However, whether the second delegation has managed to leave no stones unturned will be clear once the team is available for the media.

The exile government has been very careful in usage of words in its political publications including handouts and leaflets, official speeches etc. This is in an attempt to avoid any unpleasant reaction from Beijing which, it seems, is more willing for talks if official criticisms of it in the international media is curbed.
