The program will cover the remotest of hamlets, villages, towns and cities all over India.

In a never-before exercise in exile of grassroots awakening on the Tibet issue, the program will start simultaneously from Dharamsala(North India), Tezu(North-east) and Bylakuppee(South India). To coincide with the commemoration of Tibetan National Uprising Day, the program will conclude on March 10 at Delhi, Siliguri and Bangalore.

The Tibetan Youth Congress would make a series of appeals during the program which is titled Bharat Jagran Yatra . The Indian people would be requested to persuade their respective representatives in the State legislative assemblies to discuss the Tibet issue in the assembly. All governmental and non-governmental bodies and agencies and human rights commissions would be asked to take up the cases of the kidnapped 11th Panchen Lama and Trulku Tenzin Delek Rinpoche who was recently given death sentence with two years reprieve by a Chinese court. Appeals to the members of both the houses of the Indian parliament to discuss the Tibetan issue and to the Indian government to recognize officially the Dharamsala-based Tibetan Government in Exile would be made.
